Black Friday is the Friday following the 4th Thursday in November, the annual Thanksgiving celebration in the United States. Shopping for Christmas begins after Black Friday, the last holiday for Americans before Christmas.

Black Friday is so celebrated in the United States that some states even have a holiday on this day. This year, It falls on Friday, November 27th.

How did this name come about?

This day is designated as Black Friday by the security forces. This is because Philadelphia’s state in the United States has high traffic congestion, noise, parking, road accidents, scolding, and fighting.

The main reason for the riots and fights in this way is that the Friday after Thanksgiving, and then two more weekends off, many Americans scramble to buy goods on this day. For much larger discount than on other days of the year because it provides an opportunity to take.

Also, in the United States, if the accounting record is called Black, it means that the business is profitable. So this Friday is considered to be Black Friday because of the very high sales revenue and profit of the trading companies during this day.

What happens on Black Friday?

This day can be described as an even happier shopping day next Friday for Americans. They enjoyed the food and drink of Thanksgiving on Thursday. Shops are opening earlier than usual, and most stores are open from midnight on Friday, as many people line up to buy immediately after the festival.

Also, stores are open for a more extended period than ever before, and traders are tempted to give big rounds to almost every item they buy because they use this day to maximize their profits, as mentioned above.

Also, Black Friday is the first day that the United States and other western countries start shopping for Christmas and the coming New Year. Black Friday is the day set aside to entice customers into that shopping spree. This is more of a marketing ploy.

For these reasons, consumers are getting their hands dirty until this day to buy everything they need for Christmas and the New Year.

Black Friday going wrong

In 2008, a New York City Walmart branch employee dies after being pushed by many customers. Others were injured, and the police were called in to control the situation.

In 2010, a woman broke into a Wisconsin store with her employees and threatened to shoot them.

That same year, security forces arrested a man armed with knives and firearms who broke into a store in Florida.

In 2011, a woman who did not have the opportunity to buy a product of her choice threw pepper spray at everyone present. Due to this, more than 20 people have to be hospitalized.

In Florida, 2012, two people are shot dead as they fight over a parking lot.

One person was shot dead, and several others were injured in a riot on in 2016.
