It is reported that Facebook is working to introduce a Safe version to Instagram. This Safe Version will change the Feature and Content of Instagram to suit the needs of children under 13 years of age.
Currently, Instagram is only available to people 13 and older. However, Facebook is introducing a Kid Version to Instagram if there is no Safe Version for Instagram, as there is no specific way to identify the age of people who use Instagram and to avoid problems with children under the age of 13 using Instagram.
Vishal Shah, Vice President of Products, Instagram, made the following statement in an internal statement.
This will allow children under the age of 13 to use Instagram securely if they wish, and it is reported that the Safe version is currently being developed. Experience the Facebook Messenger for Kids Version previously introduced by Facebook for Facebook Messenger and will be releasing a child-friendly version of this Instagram Kid Version in the near future.
